Area Day is a yearlong process that involves a great deal of planning and coordination.


St. Peter’s Cobourg offers a tremendous amount of support for this day and we thank them:

  • for set-up, hosting, serving, clean-up
  • for Pam, the Sexton, and her crew who take custodial service
  • the extra mile!

  • the volunteers in the Kitchen who keep the coffee flowing
  • the Office volunteers with their warm smiles

The Area Bishop’s Administrator is directly involved in this event and is integral to the success of the day.  Without Gwen, the Bishop’s Administrator, this day becomes very challenging.  Thank you for all your help.

The planning committee meets once a month throughout the year.  We figure out a theme for the day, contact the workshop leaders and connect with the Bishop’s office to ensure that the day runs smoothly and well.  This group is always open to new lay members who have a passion for Christ, church and sharing faith with others.

Many hands make lighter work and there are multiple ways in which you can help.  We can always use a hand setting up, creating documents and brainstorming ideas to make this day the best it can be.  Please do not hesitate to contact any of the below people if you would like to be part of this treasured ministry.
